I love this! You have not only made an incredible image, you have also made clever and believable uses of the original shapes!
Now as for the image itself, I really like your use of colors and shading. It's quite clear you put a lot of work into putting in shadows, the lighting, and the coloring of her hair, skin, accessories, and even her eyes. I see bits of teal in her face but it works in adding a believable look to her skin. I like her expression, very carefree and even a hint of confidence. The clouds and sky are great, along with the random bush. I especially like the money. Your skills really shows even if everything was taken away except for the money. The details of those little crinkle lines, the symbols, the design, and the fading that dollars get in time.
The title is appropriate, because I'm assuming the rest of your art is nothing short of magnificent if I saw this image first.
OMG this is amazingly beautiful. the whimsical and free feel to this is quite beautiful along with the aspect of this being unique which was what the contest was about. Beyond anything, I'd say that you truly expressed yourself which is something that I find spectacular
Critique? Hrmm...the only thing I see that could use improving is your lighting. There's so much blue lighting on her face that it's desaturated. It makes her look like she's standing in a room rather than outside. Try pushing some pink and white in there. Same with her hair - it's just too dark to be outside! Other than that, I really like this piece. The money looks so real that I thought they were just Photoshopped-in images.
